1) I'm unable to view my new card online or need help setting up online access on EasyWeb. How can I get help for this? You can complete the online registration process for EasyWeb access here: http://bit.ly/1g8dbV6. If you are having difficulty logging in, please remember to enter the username you created to login to EasyWeb and not your TD Aeroplan Credit Card number. If you're still experiencing issues please give us a call at 866-222-3456 (available 24/7) and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you. 2) I haven't received my new TD Aeroplan Credit Card and/or PIN. How and when will I get my new credit card or PIN number? If you have not received your TD Aeroplan Credit Card, please call us at 1-800-983-8472 (available 7:00am – 12:00am ET, seven days a week) or collect at 416-983-5393, and we can mail you a replacement card. If you have received your TD Aeroplan Credit Card but have not received your PIN, you can change/reset your PIN by going into any TD Canada Trust branch (http://bit.ly/qVc6Fm). 3) I'm out of town or travelling and did not receive my new card. What should I do? Please use another credit/debit card if required while away and we will be happy to provide goodwill Aeroplan Miles for purchases made with your other card during this period. Please retain all receipts and statements and call us at 1-800-983-8472 (available 7:00am – 12:00am ET, seven days a week) when you return. 4) Do I have to activate my card? I thought the activation process was automatic? A small minority of customers will be required to activate their card before they can use it on June 16th. These are generally customers who did not use their CIBC Aerogold credit card frequently or those who have recently changed their profile or other details. 5) Will I have access to my CIBC statements online? Though you won't be able to see your past e-statements and previous historical transaction through EasyWeb, all you have to do is call us at 1-800-983-8472 (available 7:00am – 12:00am ET, seven days a week) and we'll be able to order account history for you. You will now start collecting new account history and can register for e-statements through EasyWeb (http://bit.ly/1eVjXhx) so that going forward you can maintain historical transactions online. 6) What do I do if I have pre-authorized payments on my old CIBC card? To ensure your Pre-authorized Payments continue to be processed on your TD Aeroplan Credit Card, please reset these payments with your merchants as soon as possible. You can complete this online by using TD’s free Pre-Authorized Payment Service or by calling 1-866-299-5951. 7) Should I make my payment to CIBC or TD Canada Trust? Any outstanding balances were transferred from your CIBC Aerogold account to your TD Aeroplan Credit Card account on June 16th. All payments should now be made to your TD Aeroplan Credit Card account. 8) How do I make a return for an item purchased with my old CIBC card? When returning an item purchased with your old CIBC Aeroplan Visa, we recommend you ask the merchant put the credit through the old CIBC number. If the merchant is unable to process the credit with the old CIBC number ask the merchant to put the credit through their new TD Aeroplan Credit Card. If the merchant is unable to place credit on either card, please contact us for next steps at 1-800-983-8472 (available 7:00am – 12:00am ET). Please be aware that you may experience a bit of longer wait time if you call during our peak hours, so you may want to call early in the morning or later at night. 9) What is the billing cycle for my old CIBC card and my new TD Aeroplan card? Your billing (statement) date and payment due date will not change, and you will still have the same amount of time to make your required payment. When you receive your first statement from TD, be sure to double check the due date and minimum payment amount. The statement will look a little different than what you're used to seeing, so I suggest checking out the insert entitled, "How to Read Your Statement" which will help you understand the changes. If you'd like to determine what billing cycle your new TD Aeroplan Visa is associated with give us a call at 1-800-983-8472 (available from 7am – midnight ET). Please be aware that you may experience a bit of longer wait time if you call during our peak hours, so you may want to call early in the morning or later at night. 10) My Pre-Authorized Payment didn't go through. What should I do? We are experiencing an issue with Pre-Authorized Payments on the transitioned credit card accounts. Some of these payments are being processed and paid without interruption, while others are not. We are actively working with merchants to correct this and allow payments to be processed as planned. There are customers who have told us they’ve been contacted by a merchant informing them that a PAP has been declined and requesting updated credit card information. If you are one of the customers affected by this, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. If you are contacted by a merchant and informed your PAP cannot be processed, please go ahead and provide your replacement TD Aeroplan Credit Card number. For your security, we suggest that you ask for some information that identifies the merchant before providing your account information. Please contact your merchants as soon as possible to confirm your PAPs are being processed correctly or to reset them. Have your TD Aeroplan Credit Card number handy and call your merchant’s toll-free number. Be sure to also have some information that will identify you to the merchant—such as an account number, membership ID or policy number—before you call. You may also consider visiting a merchant’s website; some merchants offer an online option to update credit card information. If you have a number of PAPs to reset and would like assistance, our free Pre-Authorized Payment service can look after providing most merchants with your replacement TD Aeroplan Credit Card information. Visit tdcanadatrust.com/preauthorizedpayments for more information. If you have questions about your TD Aeroplan Credit Card Account, please call us at 1-855-315-4325 11) Why haven't I seen my double bonus miles for purchases between June 16th and July 13th posted to my account? Transitioning Customers will see their double miles for purchases made on their TD Aeroplan Credit Card Account through the Aeroplan program 4 business days after their TD Statement is printed. We can confirm that if you are eligible to receive double miles but they have not been posted to your account yet, they will be processed to your account on your next statement. Double miles will display with a description of “TD Promotion 2X More Miles” at Aeroplan.com.
